Is payment required to make a booking?

For normal individual bookings we require a credit card to guarantee the first night. For group bookings we may require some or all payment in advance - this will be agreed at the time of booking.

When do I need to pay?

Payment is normally required in full on arrival.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards
  • American Express (£4 surcharge)
  • Cash in Pounds Sterling (we also can accept equalent payment in US$ or EUROS)
  • Bank transfer - advance payments only

What is your check-in time?

Our official check-in time in 2pm. If you arrive before and the room is ready then you can go directly to it; if it is not ready then you can leave your bags in reception (free) and check-in later.

What is the check-out time?

You must leave your room and return keys to reception no later than 10.30am. If you want to check-out a little later, then this can normally be arranged with reception; if you want to check-out a lot later then this may be possible for an additional charge.

If you are leaving very early in the morning then you can leave your key in the room or in the key box in the hotel entrance hall.

What is your cancellation policy?

We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy; this means if you notify us more than 48 hours before 2pm on the booked arrival day then you will not be charged. If you cancel less than 48 hours before arrival then you will be charged for the first night.

If you change your arrival date then normal cancellation charges may apply (subject to the manager's discretion).

Can bookings be modified before/on arrival?

All bookings can be modified before, on or after arrival subject to availability.

Please note that modifications made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to cancellation charges.

Is the reception open 24 hours?

Our reception is open 24 hours a day for arrivals and any questions.

Do you offer meals?

We do not offer breakfast or other meals, but have arrangements for discounts of 10%-15% on food and drink at local cafes.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all rooms.

Are there left luggage facilities?

If required after check-out you can leave your luggage at reception until 10pm on that day. The cost is £2 per item (small bags may be charged less).

We also have 2 individual safes in reception where valuable items can be left during or after your stay. Cost £3 per day.

If you arrive before check-in time and your room is not ready you can leave bags at reception free of charge.

Do you accept groups?
